The lost months
This post is to make up for the lost time in my blog.. hence i dono where to start but i shall try my best.. lets start wif my personal life.. well.. there have been so few changes.. i am still not yet a bachelor (not to say regretfully).. i am still not enjoying school (regrettfully and non-regrettfully) and i still love LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB as i have always did since 1992. My girlfren refused to be drawn into my description of that magical night in istanbul.. but here i am king so here goes!!
God at work Mk1: Riise crosses to Gerrard who is left unmarked (yes ppl.. left unmarked by the famed milan defence) to rise high to the heavens and send the first petition that the cup was returning to merseyside.
God at work Mk2: Vladimier Smicer.. the forgotten man of liverpool in his last game of the club thumps one in from a full 25yards off the sinew-stretched fingers of Dida.. 2-3..
God at work(wif some mischief) Mk3: Alonso steps up to take a penalty.. Dida saves.. but El Alonso crashes in the rebound to send the red region roaring... 3-3!!
God at work Mk4: Andriv Shevchenko... goal at his mercy wif only Dudek (yes ppl jerzy dudek!) to beat from 3 yards out. You never would have thought God would have put his hand out to stop the ball from entering the net would u? But he did guys.. he did..
The rest is history as they say.. its been long awaiting guys.. 20 long years since our last euro cup final and probably the best we have ever seen.. YES i do MEAN THE BEST! The 1999 final between bayern munich and the eventual winners doesnt come close.. the final game and the other red team itself.. no way..
Away from all the soccer.. my life has been going along with its fair share of hiccups.. hills.. valleys and numerous plateaus.. school is still as unpleasant and i doubt i will grow to like it anytime soon.. other than that.. to finish off on a note "money may be the root of all evil.. but i rather water the plant instead of uprooting it" lame.. but true in my current situation.. till the next one.. peace!!
